Play Golf Evansville days will be great opportunity for area golfers to tune up their golf swings with a free 10 minute personal golf lesson from one of the 3 Evansville City P.G.A Golf Professionals, Dave English, Dave Mc Atee, Mike Wassmer. The instruction will be geared to each individual focusing on their specific swing fundamentals that can be improved for better golf scores. Clubs will be available for new players to use. The Golf Pros will also be available to take quick measurements for club fittings and recommendations. All levels of players are encouraged to come out to Fendrich and get a tune up in order to start the season right.

The Department of Parks & Recreation coordinates and oversees the operation of 65 parks and 21 SJ Sunset 02recreational facilities encompassing more than 2,500 acres of land in the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  
  The Administrative Offices are located next to the Lobby of the C. K. Newsome Community Center, 100 E. Walnut Street. Shelter House Rentals, and C. K. Newsome Community Center room rentals may be obtained at the Administrative Offices. The Department of Parks & Recreation accepts cash, checks, Visa® & MasterCard® for all rentals.
